Talk:The Thirty-Six Dramatic Situations
From Gordian Plot
Updated examples?
I like Polti's list of the thirty-six dramatic situations, but sadly, the examples he gives for each plot are often drawn from French plays and novels of his era, many of which have now faded into obscurity. Would it be beyond the scope of a collaborative wiki project such as this one to try and supplement or replace them with more familiar and/or recent examples?--Nick xylas 17:00, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- This is exactly why I made this wiki. Please supplement the text with modern examples. Comments and clarifications are also welcome. If you want to suggest additional situations feel free, but remember dramatic situations are not quite the same as plots, which are elsewhere on this site.
- There should probably be some formatting convention for distinguishing users' contibutions from Polti's original examples (putting them in bold, italics, a different font colour etc.) --Nick xylas 21:16, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- Good idea
